CESAR MATEO
Cesar Mateo is a freelance graphic designer based out of New York City. As a senior designer at Sign Expo he has had the privilege of designing signage for a diverse array of companies. In addition to signage, he has designed a wide variety of film props, marketing collateral, and helped artist bring their ideas to lives. Cesar likes letters a lot, even more than writing about himself in third person, examples of his experimentations in lettering can be found in the lettering section of his design portfolio.

BACKSTORY
Cesar Mateo is from the small town of Miami, Fl. Growing up in Miami he grew a strong appreciation for both art and design and is constantly inspired by the deco theme that is a large part of the city aesthetic. After graduating from Design and Architecture Senior High in Miami, FL he took the long journey north to Brooklyn, New York to study graphic design at Pratt Institute. He attended Pratt Institute from 2006 to 2009 and soon after began his career at Sign Expo where he learned to transform 2-D design into physical structures.
